MED Urban Transports Community: final conference is coming!

The Community will meet in Málaga (17- 18 September 2019), before LOCATIONS final event

REGISTER here before 2 September for the final event of the MED Urban Transports Community that will take place in Málaga from the 17th to the 18th of September 2019!

In October the first phase of the GO SUMP project comes to an end. However, at the same time, a new phase will start, in which the Horizontal Project will further support the promotion and replication of the many tools and approaches that have been developed by the modular projects of the MED Urban Transports Community.

To celebrate the past three years of successful cooperation and positive impact, GO SUMP organizes a final event in Malaga, Spain. It will take place from the 17th to the 18th of September within the wider framework of the European Mobility Week campaign. It will be an opportunity for each modular project to showcase its achievements in an interactive way, but also to discuss key policy recommendations and explore future commitments and activities.

The event will start in the afternoon of the first day with a welcome lunch and study visits, offering a unique opportunity to experience the many urban transport innovations in Malaga through multimodal journeys guided by local experts, and finish with an evening reception at an exclusive location.

The second day will offer a mix of keynote presentations, a signing ceremony for the UTC Memorandum, interactive group discussions and an outdoor exhibition, inviting each modular project to demonstrate its results in an informal atmosphere. The event will close in the evening with live music and opportunities for networking and celebration.

The event will take place at OMAU and is open to all modular project partners, including practitioners and decision makers, and other interested stakeholders from the wider MED community. Participation is free of charge.

You can access some practical information here and download the draft agenda here. You have until the 2nd of September to register here.
